Men: On Death and Dying
My Final piece of work for my Masters. A film looking into the loss of a parent during your early adult life, as you are about to go out and into the world, and losing the closest support network you have. I talked with two men about their experiences and delved into what bereavement and grief actually is, and what is a mans role in the process. Can you speak up? Do you have to stay strong? Are you allowed to cry?
“Its a very, very complicated thing, but it is when properly supported and understood by the person who's is grieving. Instead it is best viewed as some sort of preparation for a future life without the person who Who's died.”
